Open the assistant's official website or app. Type: Please explain how to video call my grandchildren on my phone, one step at a time. Then ask follow-up questions in your own words.
Ask it to help you write a letter, plan a day trip, explain a letter from the bank in simple words or suggest a recipe from what is in the fridge.
Never type passwords or bank details into a chat. A real assistant will not ring you or ask for payment to unlock your account. If someone contacts you claiming to be from an AI company, hang up and use the official site.
If an answer is too fast or too technical, say: Please explain that again in simpler words. It will not mind, and you can do it as often as you like.
