AI for a small business: what to try in your first week

You do not need a strategy to start. You need a short list of jobs that are boring, repeatable and easy to check.

Day 1: customer emails

Paste the customer's message and ask for a polite, short reply. Always read it before sending, and add the details only you know.

Day 2: product or service descriptions

Give it three facts about the product and ask for two versions in different tones. Pick one and edit it in your own voice.

Day 3: meeting notes

Paste your rough notes and ask for a summary with action items and who owns each one.

Day 4: social posts

Ask for five post ideas based on a recent customer question. Choose the ones that sound like you.

Day 5: an FAQ

List the questions customers ask most and ask for clear, short answers. Check each answer against how your business actually works.

The rule

AI drafts, you decide. Anything that carries your name or promises something to a customer is read by a person first.
